What Is Tilting Rotary Tables?
A tilting rotary table (or RTR for short) is an innovative high precision modeling device specifically designed for metal working. A tilting rotary table consists of a rotating blade arm that can rotate vertically, horizontally, or both. A tilting rotary table also is good for making intricate cuts with a curved exterior tang, producing intricate curves and shapes, and cutting extremely hard objects in difficult angles.
A tilting rotary table generally consists of a vertical shaft, which is aligned to the X axis of the machine. On the other hand, a cross slide rotary table has a cross slide, or moveable piece of material that allows the machine operator to change the direction of the cross slide.
