Semi-automatic CNC Rotary Table works by using an on and off switch to switch the tool to move either forwards or backwards. It’s suitable for CNC milling machines and other CNC machinery operations. The tool can be set manually to perform a variety of operations such as rotating the workpiece to a new position, clamping workpieces together, lifting workpieces vertically, etc. In addition, this feature comes along with a programmable variable limit switch which limits the workpiece travel to the set parameters. It also has a programmable safety switch which shuts down the power if any undesirable action occurs during the operation.
A CNC rotary table with a rotary motion to both horizontal and vertical has the ability to perform both independent and simultaneous machining operations. This means that the CNC machine is capable of running two processes at the same time. For instance, you can move two workpieces together simultaneously and place them in a vertical machining center. Similarly, it’s possible to operate both horizontal and vertical machining centers simultaneously.
Another popular use for a CNC Rotary Table is the pallet changer. When the desired material is mounted on the seat of the machine, the pallet (the base on which the material is mounted) can be rotated vertically or horizontally by turning the either end of the pallet upside down. This rotation engages a CNC machine tool that is able to change the length of the work piece by using a pinion or leaf spring. Since this machine tool is hidden from view, operators can modify the height of the pallet and the angle at which it is to rotate even when not actively using the machine tool.
